[Home Page] [About Us] [Our Services] [Contact Us] Richard Crooks Partnership - About Us The Richard Crooks partnership was established in 1996 when Richard and Hilary Crooks decided to launch a range of architectural services offering partner-led design, co-ordination and planning supervision covering all aspects of building and conservation projects. Prior to this, both initial partners had amassed over 30 years of experience between them working for a variety of architect organisations, covering a wide range of projects. During the early years of the partnership a significant volume of work and ongoing study was undertaken in connection with church buildings, including a close liaison with Lincoln Cathedral. This association continues to this day with the practice being appointed as consulting/inspecting architects to twenty churches in Yorkshire, including a number of listed grade 1 and 2 buildings. The partnership routinely undertakes quinquennnial inspections and the co-ordination of repairs on an on-going basis. Building Conservation Accreditation Richard Crooks has been accredited in building conservation since 1999 and is able to oversee repair works to historic buildings which have been awarded English Heritage grants. As a result of successes over the past ten years, the practice now enjoys a diverse and loyal client base which attracts almost 100% of current work on a regular/repeat basis or by recommendation and referral. Current commissions provide an insight into the variety and type of consultancy and involvement associated with the partnership. Commercial, retail, educational, industrial and domestic clients together with ecclesiastical organisations have retained the Richard Crooks Partnership to manage projects varying in value from £5K to £1m Quality Management System To reflect the requirements of almost all building projects and to demonstrate their adherence to and compliance with all necessary standards, the Richard Crooks Partnership operates a Quality Management System which is routinely and vigorously assessed by independent auditing bodies. |
